Assuming that you are visiting Chengde you have to reserve at Shenghua Hotel. The hotel looks like is recently renovated and the guest rooms are very nice. The atmosphere all around was perfect.

I have booked the room for 4 days with my spouse. Beds ended up cozy and the room was always clean. The employees were being pretty handy and pleasant and always made us feel good. Rooms are big along with the closet. The bathroom was also very pretty clean plus the shower was super cool. Not a really social hotel anyway, maybe was all along our stay.
